African Hunting and Photographic Safaris


7:00 a.m.

Wake Up!  Have coffee and/or tea with biscuits.
7:45 a.m. Leave Base Camp and travel to hunting area. (Drive may take up to 2 hours, depending on the species you wish to hunt). View nature and wildlife taking photographs along the way.
9:45 a.m. Drive in your PH's bakkie (the Afrikaans word for pick-up truck) to locate game.  Proceed on foot to stalk animals.
11:00 a.m. Return to Base Camp for breakfast or stay and have a Bush Breakfast.  Skinners will be doing field preparation on any animals taken in the morning.
12:30 p.m. Return to hunting ground with snacks in vehicle and hunt again till dark.  Skinners will work on field preparation throughout the night if necessary to prepare all animals taken that day.
5:30 p.m. Return to Base Camp to clean up, have a social hour and dinner. Dinner is often served in front of a crackling fire in the lapa, under the African sky.

You will eat like a King everyday!  

A 3 course gourmet dinner of appetizers, game meat, beef, chicken, pork, fish, vegetables, breads, desserts and more! Drinks include award-winning South African Wines!
